HEF Grant Application Process

The Hastings Education Foundation (HEF) is pleased to announce a special out of cycle grant application for cultural arts grants.
The Foundation seeks grants that enhance the excellence of the Hastings Public School system. Grants are evaluated according to the following criteria:
- Detail and rationale
- Potential impact across grade, department, or school
- Integration into the school program
- Demonstration of long-term benefits of the project

Please note our schedule:
June 15, 2010: All applications due in Principal's office
no later than 3 p.m.
June 18, 2010: All applications forwarded to the Superintendent's office
June 22, 2010: All applications forwarded to the Grants Committee
All funded grants must be evaluated at the completion of the project. Please contact your Principal or the Grants Committee if you have any questions. The HEF mailbox is located in the district central office. You may also contact one of the Grants Committee members directly. We look forward to hearing from you and receiving some wonderful proposals.

- Do you anticipate the project will be continued at the end of this grant? If so, how will it be funded?
- Note: you must answer all questions for this application to be considered.
- 2. Indicate anticipated starting and completion dates of your project.
- 3. Describe the long-term impact of your project.
- 4. Provide an itemized budget for your project.
- 5. List how and by whom the project will be evaluated.
Note: Please submit four copies of your grant application/attachments. If your grant proposal has a technology component or you are requesting computer hardware, an additional copy of the application should be forwarded to Brent Harrington.
