The Hastings Education Foundation is pleased to announce that we have awarded special out of cycle cultural arts grants to all three schools. Please take a look at our 2010-2011 list of grants to see the projects we have funded for the upcoming school year. The Foundation has raised over a million dollars since we began in 1997 thanks to everyone who has so generously contributed to a cause that benefits every single child in the Hastings Public School system.
Our Fifth Annual Gala Party and Auction was held on Saturday May
1, 2010 at Alder Manor.
Over 300 people attended and enjoyed music by Mr Rubino and the High School Jazz Band as well as the band Spuyten Duyvil. The Derby Day-themed event netted close to $65,000 for the Hastings Public Schools-- even more than last year-- with a great part of that from the auction which brought in close to $50,000.
